Last Monday (10/03), a Mirror Class was held between Unis and the ECCI university, in Colombia. The target audience for this class was the Mechanical Engineering course, more specifically students in the 7th and 8th periods. Through an interclass presentation of works, students from both institutions shared knowledge about Technologies for Internal Combustion engines.
Mirror classes take place collaboratively between professors from two partner and foreign higher education institutions (HEIs), through digital tools. They occur when both have curricula or disciplines with similar content, whose classes and joint projects can be conducted synchronously and/or asynchronously between students from classes in different countries. Thus, with the support of the International Relations department, Grupo Unis innovated once again in the way of connecting its students with the rest of the world.
Now, the Unis Group’s IR sector is preparing to organize more projects of this nature with other courses at the institution, opening up the opportunity for other Unis professors and coordinators who wish to adopt this practice in their disciplines. Interested parties can fill out the form provided by the IR department, by clicking here.
